ZAMIMFUNDO DAY CARE

The Pioneer Group has a vision of creating change in the lives of babies and children that are living in disadvantaged areas. The Pioneer Group decided to do a full renovation of the Zamimfundo Childhood Development Centre at New River in uMzinyathi. Our first visit to Zamimfundo Day Care was in July 2018, where we donated R5000 for a new gas stove and the installation of that stove. We then decide to also renovate their centre by building an extra classroom for the 0-12 months babies which was needed and converting their storeroom to a classroom for the grade RRs. The team spent the day with the children and installed a sign for the centre. Our donations assisted Zamimfundo Day Care with three classrooms in total by which two classrooms are used for learning and playing and the one as a kitchen with safe to use the equipment.
